Background Bio

From our great-grandfather to our grandfather to our father then to us, building was a way of life.

We built things for our families and had people comment about the fine work and ask; "Why don't you do that for a living?" After thinking about it, we realized building was in our genes.

Named after our father Harold Elbert Reed, H.E.R. Inc. started with a Handyman license in 2007, then became a licensed General Contractor in 2008.

H.E.R. Inc was formed and is operated by sisters Deborah L. Reed and Karen J. Fultz..

Soon after, we were joined by a talented 5th generation carpenter, Jeremiah Fultz.

is a sister-owned general contracting firm that performs a wide variety of construction projects in Fairbanks, Alaska. Our personnel are highly experienced professionals who have the knowledge, ingenuity and dedication to complete projects on time and within budget. We accomplish a majority of our work with our own forces and our own equipment. We select our subcontractors from a small pool of qualified professionals that we have enjoyed working with in the past. Clients include both private and commercial individuals.
